Post: Quiet Day in Little Le Grazia

We are taking a day of rest in La Grazie before moving tomorrow to join a new group for the second part of our 2024 Italy trip.

This is a very small town with a lovely setting, even off season and in the rain. It doens’t get as much traffic as Portovenere does since the train and ferry don’t stop here. You can use a public bus to get to with Portovenere or La Spezia though.

It is still typical in small towns to have everything close in the afternoon and then reopen in the early evening. For the first time all week, it was easy to take photos. I didn’t have to crop out people or wait for crowds to move.

I imagine it has much more hustle and bustle in the summer months.
