Forty-eight hours to go…

“Are you going to set up a Blog?” my mother asked me.
“Not until I get there,” I answered.
But, after I hung up the phone, I realized that saying that meant that I might not set up the blog for our trip, ever. After all, the departure is Saturday, the first hotel check-in is Monday. By then it will be Tuesday in the US–and all of the sudden, I will seem like a huge procrastinator. This is not the way to be in front of one’s mother.

So, here it is–a blog for Australia, and maybe some future trips too.
